Workplace Solutions is a division of Transamerica that provides employer-sponsored retirement plans, stable value solutions and supplemental insurance benefits to U.S. organizations of all sizes. Transamerica is seeking multiple summer interns at our main locations of Denver, CO, Natick, MA, and Cedar Rapids, IA. Responsibilities: Support the teams within Workplace Solutions focused on retirement plans. Interns will assist with day-to-day administration of retirement plans including: * Participate in various training sessions to learn more about retirement plans, legal requirements, and the retirement industry. * Learn how to navigate and use proprietary Transamerica software; * Review retirement forms and applications for completeness and accuracy; * Perform simple retirement benefit calculations using Excel; * Prepare communications to participants regarding their retirement plan; * Draft process flows and other requirements documents; * Gain exposure to business planning and workforce management; * Assist with participant data research using SQL queries or Excel; * Assist with creation of procedures or other documentation using Word; * Collaborate with other interns to create presentations using PowerPoint and present project findings. Qualifications: * Strong written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills * Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook * Candidates must have a strong interest in retirement solutions and the insurance / financial services or customer care industry. Additional Qualifications: * Students must be currently enrolled in a college or university actively pursuing a degree. * Students must not graduate prior to the completion of their internship. * Student must be able to work 30-40 hours per week.
