Our busy IT department is seeking an intern/co-op student to assist with Desktop Deployment; Desktop Support; and Scripting. This will be a paid position in our Lehigh Valley (Allentown), PA office. This will be a temporary position, available from approximately May August 2019, for 30 40 hours per week. Because you will be involved in several projects at one time, involving several team members, we need good communicators, able to multi-task, and work well with others. Our associates provide civil, structural, municipal, environmental, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, code enforcement, plan review, construction management, construction inspections and material testing, and grant writing services to a diverse client base. Job Requirements Pursuing an Information Technology degree. Basic understanding of computer operating system and software installation. Ability to troubleshoot end user issues and determine solutions Basic knowledge of Scripting Languages (Batch, Powershell, WMI) Current/valid drivers license, as there may be travel to our satellite offices. Strong written and verbal communication, self-motivation, and leadership skills required. Communication skills are emphasized, as we need to work effectively as a team.
