This paid full-time position will provide interns with real-life work experience and exposure to senior level management. Our media internship is designed to complement and enhance academic studies through participation in different assignments and professional responsibilities. Interns may be asked to conduct initial media research, perform digital searches, field telephone requests, manage filing system for media kits and proposals, build maintenance documents for internal and external groups and coordinate with media outlet account executives to secure outstanding items including but not limited to: invoices, insertion orders, tear sheets, and broadcast schedules. The media intern will be mentored by senior members of the Paid Media/Advertising Department to help guide them through their internship. Requirements: * Rising junior, senior or recent college graduate preferred * The ability to work a full time schedule is preferred. Business hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. * Must be proficient in Excel.
