About Veecos Mechanical Engineers: Veecos Precision Surface Processing (PSP) team designs and develops wafer wet processing capabilities in markets that include Semiconductor Advanced Packaging, MEMS, Compound Semiconductor, frond-end of line (FEOL) and back-end of line (BEOL), photomask and flat panel displays. Our Mechanical Engineers are members of the new product development engineering group, working on high purity wet or gas chemical delivery and electro-mechanical systems in a cleanroom environment. Mechanical Engineers use AutoCAD and SolidWorks in overall system design, motion, robotics and automation, as well as many other engineering and design areas. Veeco Instruments continues to grow and is looking for an Intern to support Mechanical Engineering for our Horsham, PA, location. This internship is all about hands-on learning and providing you with professional growth and experience. Schedule: Must be local to our Horsham, PA office to accommodate the below: Full-time employment during the Summer 2019 (40 hours) Part-time during Fall and Spring school semesters (minimum of 15 hours a week) Your Role: As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will build on classroom learning through paid work directly related to your field.
