We are looking for a product photographer who will assist the graphic design, marketing, and sales departments in creating aesthetically pleasing photos that accurately portray our products. The Product Photographer will be responsible for taking photos of multiple different products and submitting the photos for approval by various managers. The person we look for is organized, hard working, and dedicated to their role in the company. Candidates selected to interview for this role will be asked to do a "test shoot." Core Responsibilities: * Photograph a variety of products such as: gemstones, specimens, and diamonds. * Submit product photos to company managers in a timely manner, and edit and resubmit photos as necessary * Retrieve and return products from warehouse for photo shoots, and keep photography room clean and organized * Perform postproduction photo retouching and editing with adobe software. * Assist in the production of photographic content for marketing. * Organize digital files according to company format and manage companys portfolio of produced work library * Assemble and dismantle all photo sets; store and organize all photo equipment * Remain current and knowledgeable about cameras, photography, lighting, and new software and hardware Skill Requirements: * Possesses a keen eye for capturing an objects most alluring presentation and display * Expert knowledge of DSLR and SLR Cameras * Knowledge in advanced photo studio techniques such as natural lighting, tungsten lighting, and strobe lighting * Proficient in relevant Adobe applications in Adobe CC Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator) and Microsoft office * Ability to multi-task photography projects simultaneously and meets required deadlines. * Knowledge and understanding of graphic design and production processes to facilitate effective communication * Attention-to-detail, and ability to work well in a fast paced, team environment * Ability to keep strict confidentiality, creative and otherwise. * Experience working with Mac computers. Required Experience and Education: * Minimum of 3 years experience in Product Photography or Outdoor Photography * Digital Asset Management and videography experience a plus * HTML Coding a plus Hourly: $12-13 per hour Job Types: Part-time, Internship Salary: $12.00 to $13.00 /hour Experience: * Product Photography: 3 years (Required) Work Location: * One location Working days: * Monday * Tuesday * Wednesday * Thursday * Friday Typical start time: * 9AM Typical end time: * 5PM
