This is a part-time internship requiring approximately 30 hours per week during normal business hours which are 8:00am 5:00pm, Monday Friday with some evening hours for college career fairs. Hours/schedule are somewhat flexible around school schedule. This position will work directly with the Talent Acquisition team and report to the Campus Relations Program Manager. The position will require an ability to effectively collaborate and problem solve in complex environments. In addition, this person will be expected to provide excellent customer service & work on multiple projects simultaneously. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to experience: Assisting and supporting the Campus Relations team in running the campus program for the City and County of Denver Posting internship and entry level positions at partner schools, college job boards, and alumni associations Maintaining communication and providing information to students in the campus program about events, programming, and other opportunities Sending, compiling, analyzing and summarizing intern/manager survey results to understand areas of opportunity of improvement within the campus program Scheduling phone screens and interviews for student and recent graduate applicants and hiring managers Creating and posting weekly updates on various social media for the Talent Acquisition team Assist in creating & executing various campus program events such as Lunch and Learn training and networking opportunities Attending strategy internship intake meetings under the supervision of the Campus Relations Team Building and maintaining positive working relationships with various levels of human resource staff and other stakeholders involved in the Campus program and Talent Acquisition as a whole Assist in preparing, planning, coordinating and attending Talent Acquisition recruiting events to include colleges, trade schools and community outreach Researching contact information at schools for specific department heads, clubs and diversity organizations to expand & maintain entry level talent pools Continuous inventory and organization of Talent Acquisition swag for events and programming Maintenance of Campus tracking forms, contact databases, and other documents Additional Talent Acquisition recruiting projects as needed About You Our ideal candidate will have/be: Self-starter; ability to work independently Capacity to take initiative Critical thinker Demonstrated ability to influence others Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability A successful track of being dependable and reliable Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with MS office suite specifically power point, excel, and google docs Passionate about recruiting, internships, or human resources Customer service experience A current student pursing a Bachelor's in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business, Communications, Marketing, or Organizational Development or related field We realize your time is valuable so please do not apply if you do not have at least the following required minimum qualifications: Completion of two years of college and current enrollment in a college program leading to a Baccalaureate Degree in a professional field specific to the departmental and/or work assignment To be considered for this position, you must include the following on your job application: Transcripts - unofficial or official Cover letter - detailing why you should be considered for this position About Everything Else Job Profile TA0015 Professional Occupations Intern II To view the full job profile including position specifications, physical demands, and probationary period, click here .
