The Application Services Intern will assist in a broad range of duties and support for the Application Development team to achieve operational objectives. This includes supporting the system support functions to assure a high-level of customer satisfaction and outcomes. The Application Services Intern will obtain skills in decision-making structures and processes and will assist in a wide variety of assignments in a timely and professional manner. The Application Services Intern will also receive hands-on mentoring support in product development, application development, programming, data analysis, technical analysis, functional analysis, and project delivery. DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Contributes to assigned projects as directed. May act as project coordinator. Performs analysis, design, development, and testing of software applications. Works with supervisor to deploy final solutions. Attends meetings as scheduled. Perform other duties as required. Must read, understand, and adhere to all HCA/HealthONE Healthcare policies and procedures. Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement. Qualifications Qualifications: Knowledge of basic office equipment including copier, office phone, and computer. Skills in working with other team members to receive instruction and to demonstrate their developed applications. Ability to handle multiple priorities at once with minimal supervision. Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to organize and communicate clearly. Ability to actively support the change process. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information. Ability to analyze data and processes. Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Application Programming, or Data Science is preferred. Ability to handle multiple priorities at once with minimal supervision. Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to organize and communicate clearly. Ability to actively support the change process.
