POSITION SUMMARY: The Matthews Management System (MMS) Intern will provide project and analytic support to the Global Production & Technology team and assist with MMS implementation projects as well as supporting research and analytics. This internship will provide an opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of various Global Production & Technology functions including MMS, Supplier Quality, Corporate Purchasing, Project, Engineering, and related. Responsible for a variety of projects designed to be completed. Gain knowledge of and interact with all three business segments, corporate employees, and other business professionals throughout the internship. Job Responsibilities JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Support day-to-day operations of the Global Production & Technology department developing a general understanding of all aspects of administration of the MMMS function including policies, procedures and processes. * Gain exposure to various assessments and resources including Performance & Review (P&R) audits, SQDV board implementations, value stream mapping. Provide kaizen project support. * Primary focus will be working with and supporting the MMS implementation team. * Help create and develop new tools, frameworks, and supporting documents for the MMS. * Providing assistance with special projects as needed. * Additional duties are assigned.
