This is a FULL-TIME internship from June 3rd to August 30th. Internship Overview PHD offers interns an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a division serving and reaching hundreds of thousands of individuals nationally. Interns provide essential administrative and operational support, along with other responsibilities. Experiences and learning opportunities include: Understanding of the current HIV/AIDS and STD landscape in the US Gain familiarity with community-based testing Work directly with communities at risk for contracting HIV and other STDs Be exposed to different cultures and communities, and learn how they affect health behaviors and outcomes. Participate in programs that are on the frontline in the fight against HIV and STDs. Work with a dynamic, diverse and dedicated staff. Responsibilities Assist with program development including: developing reports, monitoring and evaluation, and operational research. Data entry and review of on-going research programs Assist with program development and proposal development and submission as needed. Administrative and front desk support at Wellness STD Clinics Outreach and client risk assessments at different testing sites
