Marketing Intern (Summer) Emerald Performance Materials, LLC Vancouver, WA Posted 15 days ago Job Snapshot Full-Time Other Great Industries Other, Professional Services Job Description The Marketing Summer Intern will provide market research, communications, and some administrative support related to the Marketing Group. The Interns responsibilities will be to support trade show planning, updates to the website and marketing collateral, search engine optimization, and maintenance of company intellectual property. Emerald is looking for an intern who has skills in business-to-business marketing communications and an interest in products of a more technical nature. A candidate with excellent communication skills, creativity, and aptitude or experience working in marketing or chemistry is ideal for this role. Duties/Responsibilities: Marketing Promotion and Communications: * Update and proactively maintain both the Companys internal and external websites. * Maintain search engine optimization and capture website analytics. * Draft and revise product literature or website content. * Preparation of press releases or other external materials. * Support for trade show preparation including booth, literature, and sponsorship materials. Market Research and Analysis: * Provide data extraction and analysis for market research using web-tools and internet searches. * Identify relevant market research reports. * Maintain and consolidate competitive intelligence data. * Assist with compiling reports on market trends for the commercial team. * Internal sales data gathering and analysis Skills, Qualifications, Experience: * University enrollment and coursework pursuing Bachelors degree in Marketing, eMarketing or Communications. * Science coursework (especially in chemistry) is considered a plus. * Strong PC skills MS Office, simple graphics editing, CMS (content management system editor), other software programs as necessary * Familiarity with Adobe software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, or Dreamweaver considered a plus. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong data analysis skills Successful candidates must also possess the following: * Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to interact well with all levels of management and colleagues located remotely * Strong work ethic with demonstrated leadership skills * Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task * Must be able to handle ambiguity as well as the ability to work well under stress and deadlines * Must be able to work independently and possess good judgment skills * Ability to creatively present technical product and applications information Job ID: 745 Help us improve CareerBuilder by providing feedback about this job: Report this Job.
