Job Profile This is a supplemental (part-time) position that supports the legal department with various tasks, including drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents, performing research, assisting with document management and other work as required. QUALIFICATIONS: Currently enrolled in a ABA accredited JD degree program; or law school graduate demonstrating an interest in pursuing a legal career Corporate, healthcare, labor, and/or administrative law classes or experience working in managed care organizations or health systems is a plus OTHER SKILLS: Analytical Research Computer literate, MS Word, Outlook Internship, Law Clerk experience and/or coursework in Health Law and exposure to HIPAA law a plus. Knowledge of health insurance and Medicaid regulations and compliance requirements preferred. Effective collaboration and problem solving skills. Strong written and oral communication abilities.
