Wondering what you could be doing as an Engineer in an Internship As an electrical engineer,you could find yourself in a role as an Analog Design Engineer, Antenna RF Engineer, Avionics Engineer, Circuit Designer, Digital / FPGA Design Engineer, Electrical System Design Integration, Field Technician Systems, Architecture and Design, Network Engineer, Power Electronics Engineer, Product Development Engineer, Radar Systems Engineer, RF/Microwave Engineer, Signal/Image Processing. Performance standards that an incumbent must have to be successful in this position include: * Leadership and teamwork capabilities * Interpersonal communication skills * Extracurricular activities (campus organizations, clubs, student organizations, community service) * Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions * Exceptional written and oral communication skills Prospect Qualifications: A prospect, regardless of age and hiring source must meet allof the below criteria: * Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university * Be majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or math related degree * Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher * Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) Preferred Qualifications: * Overall GPA of 3.7 * Working on an electrical engineering degree with classes in power engineering (power supply design, DC/DC converters, solar array and battery), Analog Circuit Design, and hands on lab experience * Prior internship or research experience in related field * Proficiency in Microsoft office suite Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
