SURVEY CAD INTERN Corporate Environmental Risk Management (CERM) - Tucker, GA 1 day agoPart-timeEstimated: $40,000 - $51,000 a year Apply Now Skills * Drafting * MicroStation * Schematics * AutoCAD * CAD JOB SUMMARY: CERM is currently seeking a Staff Survey (CADD) co-op/intern to join our Tucker, Georgia office for approximately 13 to 15 weeks during the summer semester of 2019 and could possibly lead to a year round internship. The Staff Survey (CADD) is an entry-level professional who will assist with work on a variety of projects under direct supervision of an experienced professional. The ideal candidate would be currently enrolled in a degree program in a relevant engineering/science discipline. This opening is for a 40-hour per week position and part-time employment will not be considered. It is preferable to have a co-op candidate who could return to the position for up to two additional rotations during their undergraduate studies. Candidates are responsible for coordinating their own transportation to and from the office. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Prepare survey drawings manually and on CAD System software, to establish complete and accurate survey database necessary for determining property data including boundaries, Right-of-Way, and easements/encumbrances. As well as, data necessary for the design of engineering projects including, storm and sewer systems, roadway design, and airport design, and Federal, State, & municipal infrastructure. Prepare detailed drawings of project sites including existing conditions, topographic data, hydrographic data, and real property information. Gather supporting data and prepare detailed maps of institutional property which show dimensions and specifications of building, water lines, sewers, drains, and related information Make as-built and topographic drawings for various clients. Prepare detailed layout, and working drawings; files and indexes drawings Participate in making field surveys, determining locations and elevations for drawings Perform other duties as required Required Skills KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: This is a partial listing of necessary knowledges, skills, and abilities required to perform the job successfully.
