Internship LOCATION 1830 Route 130 North Burlington NJ US 08016 Overview Position Name: Paid Internship (Architecture) Overview: If you want hands on experience on the Architecture team of one of largest off-price retailers in the nation, join the nationally-ranked Burlington Stores, Inc. internship program as an Architecture Intern! Are you a full-time student pursuing your Bachelors degree? Do you have at least a 3.0 GPA? Are you interested in a career in Architecture? Are you a self-motivated, team player, with strong planning, organizational and communication skills? If so, this may be the right opportunity for you! As an Architecture intern, youll work out of our Florence, NJ corporate office. This wont be your typical internship experience making copies and getting coffee! Throughout the comprehensive 10-week summer program, youll work side by side with industry leaders to gain practical knowledge and skills through your departmental assignment and a full understanding of what its like to be part of an Architecture Team in the fun and fast-paced world of off-price retail! You and the other members of your summer intern class will receive a comprehensive orientation program to get your started on the right foot. Youll be partnered with a current member of the Finance team, who will serve as your buddy for support and guidance. Throughout the summer, youll participate in Leadership Development Seminars, Classroom-style trainings in areas related to your program, visits to market in NYC, tours of our stores and distribution centers, shadowing days where you can explore alternative career paths and learn about other key parts of the business, and community service projects not to mention a variety of team-building social activities to help you get to know your intern class! Upon graduation, many alumni of our internship program go on to join our team as full-time associates, either rejoining the team where they completed their internship program or in a different branch of the organization! We are a rapidly growing brand, providing a variety of professional development opportunities so our associates can grow with us. Responsibilities: * Development of exterior facades * Review of exterior facades proposed by Landlord & Architects/Engineer * Maintaining and communicating design guidelines * Project administration * Working closely with store planning and the construction team Candidates must be full-time students pursuing a Bachelors degree in Architecture (or related field), must be within 2 years of graduation and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above .
