Job Description: Siemens US Talent Acquisition Position Overview This position will report into the Source Inventory / Return Source (SI/RS) team within CS ML Americas which is responsible for Service parts planning and distribution in the USA. At a high level, the SI/RS team is responsible for buying and planning service parts for Siemens Healthcare Invivo and Invitro products and is ultimately responsible for inventory levels and delivery performance. This team is comprised of 2 Planning teams (Invivo & Invitro), Material Master Administration, Efficiency Controlling, Warranty Management, and Update Management. Responsibilities This position will report into the Source Inventory / Return Source (SI/RS) team within CS ML Americas which is responsible for Service parts planning and distribution in the USA. At a high level, the SI/RS team is responsible for buying and planning service parts for Siemens Healthcare Invivo and Invitro products and is ultimately responsible for inventory levels and delivery performance. The intern will take direction from the SI/RS Management team and will primarily support the Mgmt team in various Initiatives / Projects. The responsibilities associated with this position will include data collection, cross functional team coordination, ad hoc reporting, and project support. In the role as an Intern in the department SI/RS you will be reporting directly to me. (Shree Chitale Head Source Inventory/ Return Source) Key Topics for the role: 1. Support Projects / Initiatives for the Source Team (eg expansion of Regional Depot concept , MM Automation, Ocean Freight) 2. Support and assist Planning teams in various tactical tasks like (GR/IR resolution, Place manual POs as needed to support SI/RS (examples: Ocean Freight, RDC Direct, Holiday Buffer, Mega Depot) 3. Research and provide input on how Source processes can be digital.
