Launching your career in our Software Engineering Group as a junior coder apprentice means you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You'll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You'll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what's being developed. In this role you will develop - * Beginner level understanding of the application development lifecycle, and one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g. java) * Awareness of developmental toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software * Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals * Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement Qualifications: Qualifications * Team Player - Open communicators that want to help get things done and gather as much information as possible. * Learner: You like learning new things and understanding the "how" behind what makes software and computer applications work. * Self-Starter: Continuously looking to improve skills and processes in your day to day experiences. * Technical Mindset: Technology does not have to be life, but it helps if you want to learn about and work with it.
