Required: Must be a permanent resident or US citizen FALL 2019 Electrical Engineering Intern at Marquardt Switches, Inc.: This position is for an electrical engineering internship. This position will support all electrical engineering activities Essential Responsibilities: Prepare electrical technical documentation, including schematics and reports. Perform electrical testing activities and prepare documentation. Assembly of printed circuit boards. Includes both through-hole and surface mount components. Ordering of electrical components for sample builds. Creation of LTSpice and PSpice circuit simulation, Monte Carlo analysis and worst case circuit calculations. Design of electrical circuits for testing purposes. Microcontroller coding in C and C++. Must be available full time. Required Qualifications for this role include: Working towards a Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering orrelated field. A Technology degree is not sufficient. Minimum of 3.0 GPA Minimum of 3 years of college courses completed Ability to communicate with team members! Ability to read and understand electrical schematics Proficiency in using: Oscilloscope, Meter, and Function Generator Ability to solder PCBs for engineering testing / development Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits Good understanding of electrical theory. Ability to apply theoretical and practical knowledge. Ability to work effectively with the engineering team. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks. Ability to identify when more work load can be handled and seek out tasks. Ability to seek assistance when needed. Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods. Ability to occasionally stand and walk. Ability to use close vision, color vision, and depth perception for extended periods.
