We're looking for talented and hardworking team players to accelerate our growth! **** Role **** We are looking to hire a law school student who will intern with us and assist in contract reviews in commercial matters. Prior SaaS contract review experience is preferred, but not required. If you're eager for your next challenge, Workato is an ideal place to get ahead! **************** Responsibilities **************** * Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS commercial contracts, leases, and other documents * Understand and assist employees and leadership members with situations that arise and are unique to Workato commercial matters * Identify legal or contractual issues and develop new approaches to resolve complex issues * Provide legal advice to senior management regarding various corporate and business matters * Remain current on federal and state laws, regulations, and practices affecting the company business * Manage relationships and collaborate with external counsel and VP Finance ************ Requirements ************ * Currently enrolled in law school with exceptional academic credentials * 1 year or less away from graduation * Plan to license to practice law in the state you are working in * Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills * Excellent business judgment and high level of professionalism * Ability to work in teams * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Able to work 20+ hours per week locally throughout the year * Well versed with privacy law Interview priorities will be given to those who can start immediately.
