(SSAI) has an opening for a temporary full-time Engineering Intern to support activities in Code 563 Power Systems Branch at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). This support is a part of the Electrical Systems Engineering Services III (ESES III) contract. The ESES III contract includes the provision of electrical/electronic engineering support services and related work to the Engineering and Technology Directorate. The work includes the study, design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification and operations of spaceflight, airborne and ground system hardware and software, including development and validation of new technologies to enable future space and science missions. Specific duties for this position may include the following: Support printed circuit board (PCB) design, layout, and manufacture activities Support automated electronic PCB manufacture equipment configuration Support analysis, design, and test of high voltage analog power supply cards Support the use of 3-D printing in electrical applications Support configuration and test of electrical instrumentation under vacuum Required Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Familiar with electrical components and circuit analysis Experience in software programming (any high level language). High School diploma, GED, or have equivalent education and experience Working proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Must be a United States citizen with ability to pass a Government background investigation. Desired Qualifications:
