It will also offer a great opportunity for interaction with investment analysts and portfolio managers on staff. This is a part-time paid internship that will begin in the Summer or Fall of 2019 with the possibility of holding this internship throughout the remainder of your college career. Therefore students starting their Junior or Senior year are encouraged to apply. DUTIES Direct Support: Responds to the daily needs of the Investment Department's Administrative Assistant, Investment Analysts and Portfolio Managers, which enables them to meet their goals in all internal and external client contact services. Main responsibilities would include but are not limited to: Prepare written security reviews on stocks, mutual funds, closely held securities, and limited partnerships held by the Company, in a timely manner Assist with the preparation and delivery of fund return information to all client contact personnel Assist in the analysis and due diligence of equity or fixed income investments for inclusion in clients' portfolios Assist the Investment Department Administrative Assistant in the compilation and delivery of client meeting material Assist the Investment Department Administrative Assistant in generating performance reports for monthly and quarterly distribution Perform special investment projects on an as needed basis Perform other duties, as requested, to enable the Investment Department to meet ongoing established goals. QUALIFICATIONS Pursuit of a degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting Qualities of a team player to enable the goals of the Company Excellent written communication skills High level of Excel and Microsoft Word knowledge Desire to pursue a career in the investment and wealth management business, preferred Ability to work Spring, Summer and Fall Semesters
