Alumni and Development Summer Intern Lick-Wilmerding High School - San Francisco, CA 2 hours agoFull-timeEstimated: $18,000 - $26,000 a year Apply Now The Alumni & Development Office Summer Intern will assist members of the Alumni & Development Office in various projects. This work may include: writing articles, analyzing data, making updates and adding information to the database, assisting with merchandise, and assisting with planning events. This job is open to current LWHS students and LWHS young alumni, who are members of the Classes of 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 or 2020. While the exact schedule will be determined, this position is designed to be a four-week, full-time internship (eight-hour work day; four consecutive weeks). Responsibilities: Assist the Development Associate and Database Manager with summer database projects, including: obtaining and/or updating college-aged alumni addresses and emails, parent and alumni professional information, analyzing reports and data, and entering alumni notes into database records Gathering information and writing articles for the alumni magazine Possibility of creating media (photos, video) for donor appreciation/ acknowledgment purposes Assist Development Associate with summer organization of school merchandise Making calls to thank alumni for donating to LWHS Contacting alumni to verify contact information Assist with planning and logistics for an event to celebrate the opening of the new classroom building General administrative support to the Alumni & Development Team Other duties as assigned Qualifications Enthusiasm for the mission of LWHS An interest and curiosity in learning about Alumni & Development outreach and fundraising Positive attitude, collaborative, team player Well-organized and detail-oriented Excellent written and oral communication skills Comfortable in google drive and database environment Willingness and flexibility to step in where and when needed If you are under age 18, a full time high school student, and you are offered the position, you will need to obtain a minor work permit HOW TO APPLY Please apply through this site and submit a cover letter and resume in PDF format.
