This program can last 12-36 months. Future leaders will experience in using principles such as: Applying a standard of ethics to policy and administrative context Evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of current operations within area of assignment Communicating relevant information and ideas Managing university resources to achieve organizational goals Requisition ID: 17409BR Travel Required: Up to 50% Major/Essential Functions: Assist the men's basketball head strength and conditioning coach in the design and implementation of the men's basketball strength and conditioning program. Assist in administering and evaluating testing procedures and data input for coaches, athletes, and staff. Work closely with all sport coaches, athletic trainers, team physicians and communicate any goals or issues with teams or individuals. Maintenance and cleanliness of weight room facilities. Assist with daily warm-ups, cool down routines for practices, competitions and strength and conditioning workouts. Work closely with the internship program and Exercise Science department in scheduling interns, volunteers and practicum students. Comply with all NCAA, Big 12 and Texas Tech University rules, regulations and policies. Grant Funded?: No Minimum Hire Rate: 11.5 Pay Basis: Hourly Schedule Details: Variable work schedule. Hours are dependent on team practice and competition schedule. Work Location: Lubbock Preferred Qualifications: CSCCa certification and/or NSCA certification; CPR and First Aid certification. Master's degree in related field.
