We are currently seeking a Marketing Specialist/ Intern to join our team in the Pearl District. As the Marketing Specialist/Intern you will provide valuable support and knowledge in the creation of social media, email and general marketing campaigns. You will work directly with the CEO and other staff to create marketing strategies that align with business verticals. Manage and monitor social media channels for trends and identify the best approach to follow up with prospective clients. Provide support for video content and creation. Plus perform marketing and sales support. This is a paid internship, part-time with potential for full-time, 24-40 hours per week depending on availability. Duration is May - August, with capacity to be extended through the academic year up to 6 months. Education: * High school diploma required. * Currently enrolled full-time or part-time in a university/college and studying marketing, business or communications. Minimum Requirements: * At least 18 years of age. * Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret. * Proficient in Microsoft Suite. * Working knowledge with email builders such as Mailchimp, Predictive Response or Constant Contact. * Marketing material creation (layout, design) * Email and e-newsletter building (content entry, layout adjustment, campaign scheduling) * Website management assistance (content entry, layout adjustment) * Social media assistance (content creation, brand management) * Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Acrobat editing features) * Content creation (article writing, layout design, or videography) * Proficient with the use of LinkedIn, Instagram and social media monitoring and management tools. * Detail oriented, organized, excellent communication skills both orally and written * Ability to work well with others (staff, clients, business owners, c-suite, and vendors) * Ability to work on a small team with ambiguity, autonomy, and integrity. * Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines * Project management and problem solving skills * Other duties as assigned Merchant Concepts, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
