The schedule is approximately 20-30 hours a week beginning in May continuing through December. PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS: The purpose of this role is to provide excellent end-user technical support for a range of core infrastructures, workplace solutions and business applications. Core functions include performing building and deploying IT workstations; installing application; and servicing the IT ticket queue. ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS: Images PC and Mac laptops and desktops. Deploys IT workstation hardware. Installs required IT workstation software applications. Coordinates and/or performs hands-on fixes to end-user devices including installing and upgrading hardware and software and configuring systems and applications. Creates and maintains end user documentation on procedures Creates and administers Active Directory and cloud system user accounts. Collaborates with others on the IT team on projects and tasks as needed. Records and documents all incidents, problems and changes in the ticketing system. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of post high school education preferred. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or related classwork. Expertise with Windows PC and Mac operating systems and applications Able to follow written procedures and work independently. Familiarity with Active Directory. Excellent customer service skills. Good phone skills and an ability to provide technical support over the phone. Good problem solving skills and techniques. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
