Event Coordinator Intern Event Emissary - Washington, DC 8 hours agoInternship$18 - $20 an hour Apply Now Education * Bachelor's Degree Unique entry level opportunity for recent college graduate interested in entering the event management industry. This is not a "coffee gopher" internship. This position will immerse the candidate in the event industry world, including venue management, event planning and audio/visual production and has the potential for a full-time hire position. This full-time summer internship will report directly to the owner of Event Emissary (www.eventemissary.com), the Mellon Auditorium (www.mellonauditorium.com), Engine Company 12 (www.enginecompany12.com) and Arcadian Productions (arcadiandc.com) Projects will range from event planning, social media/marketing and new product development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, understanding of social media, independent worker and an entrepreneurial mindset.
