Job Duties: Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information. Basic Qualifications: Enrolled in Business, Political Science / Pre-law, Liberal Arts, or other area with emphasis on research, analysis, problem solving and writing / presenting findings, trends, and concepts Preferred Qualifications: 1 - 3 years of professional experience or internships in a related business function or compliance focused field. Proficient Computer Skills (Microsoft Office Suite), Strong Communications Skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, General understanding of business and systems. Experience working in a manufacturing environment and/or with commercial contracts / orders; direct experience working with external customers, specifically for resolution of issues and bidding new business; experience with process standardization and improvements. Ability to Work Well in Groups, Proven Organizational Skills, Naturally Detail-Oriented Self-Starter, Ability to Multi-Task in a Cross-Functional Team Environment, Confident, Positive Personality, Calm under Stress.
