This internship position will organize and provide leadership for a cross-functional product development team working toward a brand-new product and service offering from 4moms. He or she will help define the product vision, project scope, and act as the owner for scoping and coordinating the work necessary to achieve the goals. This position will be responsible for defining the product and service's goals through the entire lifecycle, ensuring they contribute to profitable growth and building the 4moms brand. What You'll Be Doing: Partner with cross-functional product management team, including Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Product and Brand Marketing, as well as external software, logistics, and website design resources. Put 4moms on a path to deliver a product and service to the market that will meet the objectives for features and benefits within specified budgets and timelines. With the rest of the product development team, facilitate all phases of the product development process, creating urgency, and representing the project team within the broader organization. Collaborate with the Leadership Team to set category and product vision based on consumer insights and market potential. Design and execute consumer research to help set new product development strategy, deliver consumer validated innovation and guide existing product renovation. Partner with Sales & Marketing on launch planning by developing the selling story and launch assets including collateral, packaging and consumer-facing communication that supports product and portfolio positioning and communication objectives. What we need from you: Currently enrolled in good standing in an MBA or equivalent Masters degree program. Previous working experience in product management and/or product planning is preferred. Technical experience, working as or collaborating with mechanical and software engineering teams, is strongly preferred. Consumer durable good or consumer software experience preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to motivate and persuade.
