Editorial Intern, Part-Time, Paid Workman Publishing Company - New York, NY4.8 8 hours agoPart-timeEstimated: $13,000 - $18,000 a year Apply Now Skills * Administrative Experience * Microsoft Office Workman Publishing (www.workman.com), an innovative, independent publisher of nonfiction books and calendars, seeks a part-time editorial intern who can work 20 to 25 hours a week. Our internships are extremely varied, comprising everything from fact-checking to reading and evaluating unsolicited manuscripts. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented student or recent graduate looking to get into book publishing. An interest in calendars, general nonfiction (including lifestyle, self-help, humor, and cooking), and childrens books is a plus! Excellent communication and writing skills and proficiency in MS Office are also required. Prior publishing and/or administrative experience is preferred.
