This is a FULL-TIME internship from June 3rd to August 30th. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions * Assists the Mobilization Team in the making and distributing of testing marketing materials, i.e., brochures, fact sheets, safer sex kits, palm cards, promotional items, etc., and inform potential clients of testing services and hours provided. * Coordinates new innovative ways to promote 340b program through social media sites and apps through the development and growth of shared testing profiles.Adheres to AHF policies and procedures including HIPPA regulations, sensitivity to patient information, cultures and backgrounds. * Identify and maintain new partnerships with community and campus organizations. * Organizes at least one group information session for the 340b program and HIV prevention demonstrating information learned during internship about HIV, testing information and services, specific demographic statistics relevant to the group population. * Observes testing/counseling techniques by shadowing different PHD staff members. * Assists the Mobilization Department by reviewing monthly testing reports, confirming accuracy of amount of tests conducted, helping with inventory count and allocation logs as well as grant documentation. * Coordinates the creation of attractive and accurate Department specific reports, including PowerPoint and other documentation that outlines program progress, for presentations to small or large groups of AHF Staff on an as-needed basis. * Assists with email communications with clients. * Expected to be a team player, who is willing to take on new challenges and specific project assignments, as deemed appropriate to support the Departments overall goals and objectives.
