Systems Engineering Intern We are looking for a Systems Engineer Intern to join our team in Melbourne, FL. The Systems Engineer Intern will work within the In-flight connectivity unit at Thales, IFEC. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of airborne avionics equipment, SATCOM and systems engineering processes. Key Responsibilities: Experience with JAMA and JIRA Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment Experience developing new processes and writing work instructions Completed projects and coursework in Computer Science and software development Qualifications: You must be currently pursuing one of the following Bachelor's degrees as a Junior or Senior in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology . Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Must be able to communicate directly and openly Project Management skills: Be organized, able to take instructions, work in a time sensitive environment, and be able to solve problems independently or/and under limited supervision Self motivated, critical thinker with technical background Returning for at least one more semester following the summer 2019 internship Able to work full time hours (40 hours) for 12 weeks starting May 2019 August 2019 Previous work experience outside the classroom Great written and verbal communications skills Authorization to work in the United States At Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
