We are looking for engineering interns who are versatile, display leadership qualities and are enthusiastic to solve problems across the full-stack as we continue to test and push new features in a fast paced environment. INTERNSHIP DETAILS & RESPONSIBILITIES: * The internship will be 10 weeks from June 2019 through August 2019 * Each intern will be considered seasonal/temporary in nature * Interns will be strategically placed in a specific engineering department (Quality, Front End UI, Back End Platform) based upon skills and business needs * Each Intern will be assigned a Coach & Mentor to guide through his/her experience * Each Intern will be assigned a project which will be presented to AEO Management at the conclusion of the Internship * Work in agile environment with cross-functional teams to support e-commerce platform TRAINING OVERVIEW: * Opportunities to learn about different areas of the Technology business * On-the-Job training with assignments guided by an individual Mentor * Classroom learning * Individual and group projects * Roundtables with top level executives * Bi Weekly self-evaluations to understand progress throughout program * Pre-planned events around Pittsburgh to get to know the city that AEO loves to call home! * Opportunity for a full time offer into the AEO - IT organization after successful completion of the 10 week internship program QUALIFICATIONS: * Students are eligible after they have completed their junior year at a 4 year college or university; First year Master's students are also eligible * Preferred majors include a Technology related degree - Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, etc. * Experience with software development and test automation required * Minimum 3.0 GPA required * Strong organizational, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team * Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment * Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting * High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, specifically Excel * Must accommodate living and working in Pittsburgh, PA for 10 weeks June-August 2019 Overview Website www.aeo.jobs Headquarters Pittsburgh, PA, United States Size 10000+ employees Founded 1977 Type Company - Public (AEO) Industry Retail Revenue 100 to 500 billion (INR) per year Competitors Unknown American Eagle Outfitters Photos American Eagle Outfitters photo of: Outside an American Eagle Outfitters store.
