In this internship you will spend time exploring all functions within Information Technology and learn how we use technology to grow and drive our business. If you have a passion for technology and innovation, with a business savvy focus, this is the internship for you. INTERNSHIP DETAILS: * Interns will be strategically placed in a specific IT department at AE based upon skills and business needs. Some of our sample departments include Corporate, Customer and Supply Chain Technologies, Technical Infrastructure, and Networking. * The internship will be 10 weeks from June 2019 through August 2019 * Each intern will be considered seasonal/temporary in nature * Each Intern will be assigned a Coach & Mentor to guide through his/her experience * Each Intern will be assigned a project which will be presented to AEO Management at the conclusion of the Internship TRAINING OVERVIEW: * Opportunities to learn about different areas of the business including merchandising, marketing, and stores * On-the-Job training with assignments guided by an individual Mentor * Classroom learning * Individual and group projects * Roundtables with top level executives * Bi Weekly self-evaluations to understand progress throughout program * Pre-planned events around Pittsburgh to get to know the city that AEO loves to call home! * Opportunity for a full time offer into the AEO - IT organization after successful completion of the 10 week internship program QUALIFICATIONS: * Students are eligible after they have completed their junior year at a 4 year college or university; First year Master's students are also eligible * Preferred majors include an Information Technology related degree - Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Networking, etc. * Minimum 3.0 GPA required * Strong organizational, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team * Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment * Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting * High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, specifically Excel * Must accommodate living and working in Pittsburgh, PA for 10 weeks June-August 2019 Overview Website www.aeo.jobs Headquarters Pittsburgh, PA, United States Size 10000+ employees Founded 1977 Type Company - Public (AEO) Industry Retail Revenue 100 to 500 billion (INR) per year Competitors Unknown American Eagle Outfitters Photos American Eagle Outfitters photo of: Outside an American Eagle Outfitters store.
