The FIS 2019 Corporate Summer Internship: As a 2019 Corporate Summer Intern with FIS, you will benefit from on the job training and mentoringalong with participation in team projects, social events,charity work, and professional development seminars. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 3, 2019 and conclude on August 9, 2019. Interns will receive the opportunity to build professional relationships and enhance their interpersonal skills. As an intern, you should expect to own the following roles and responsibilities: Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support a designated functional area, analyze business processes, and work towards goals and objectives assigned byan experienced manager. Interns will also interact with and support business partners and participate in projects that directly impact business value. General Duties & Responsibilities: Processes new account applications and account maintenance requests through routine data entry procedures into various account databases and systems. Process orders for equipment/supplies through the on-line request system. Meet all department volume and accuracy production standards. Research and resolve client issues, as needed. Review and update procedure manuals specific to job functions, as needed. Performs tasks to ensure compliance with work group and client-specific procedures to further guarantee adherence to service level agreements. Performs customer and account maintenance per reports, client workflow solution, postal mail, or by direct instruction from immediate supervisor. Assists in tracking, compiling, and completing reports as assigned. Makes recommendations to the department supervisor on any matter affecting productivity, efficiency, service or problem resolution. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field of study Displays good written and oral communication skills Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of MS Office Ability to work in one of FIS' strategic locations for the duration of the internship GPA requirementof 3.0 or higher Additional skills, knowledge, and experience may be required based on the type of functions the incumbent will perform.
