Marketing and Event Coordinator Intern Ulterra Drilling Technologies - Fort Worth, TX3.7 7 hours agoFull-time$16 an hour Apply Now Skills * Marketing Job Summary: The Marketing Intern will be responsible for coordinating corporate events and assisting with all corporate communications. Job Responsibilities: * Event planning * Generate, write, edit, and publish content * Work with entire team to plan and push out key communications * Other duties as assigned to assist in the overall organization of the marketing team Job Requirements Education: Some College experience, preferably a Marketing or Communications degree. Experience: Entry level Skill Requirements: * Basic reading, writing and oral communication skills. * Able to understand written and oral instructions. * Fast learner with ability to multi-task * Event planning * Be able to work on an entire lifecycle of an assignment. * Proficient with general office software. * Willing and excited to learn about multiple facets of the upstream oil & gas industry. * Basic understanding of upstream oil & gas and/or oil & gas drilling preferred. * Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas effectively to small teams. * Highly creative and able to think outside-the-box. Propensity to ask new questions, derive new insights, challenge norms and uncover new solutions. * Highly flexible in terms of roles and tasks, with the ability to both lead and follow and to work alone and collaboratively in teams. * Highly conscientious, working to meet expectations by soliciting feedback while meeting * Service mentality, with a desire to serve both internal and external customers. Other Requirements or Experience: Employee will be required to travel 2-5 days per month. Physical Requirements: Bending, stooping, sitting, walking; visual acuity with hand and finger dexterity. Employee is regularly required to talk and hear with close and distant vision. Able to lift and move merchandise, parts and tools, typically a minimum of 30 lbs., but could be as much as 70 lbs.
