A key influencer of the low life expectancy is unmanaged stress and untreated mental health issues, therefore, we believe that helping men cope with daily stressors is essential to extending and improving their quality of life. Henry Healths internship program is designed to offer interns a real-life learning experience by providing them with the maximum exposure of the day-to-day operations of the design team of a growing technology based startup. We are looking for people with smarts, a strong work ethic, and superior design skills. About the position. This internship position allows the intern to assist the Chief Design Officer with design and production of branding, social media campaigns and collateral materials in both print and digital formats that will help further the national Henry Health brand. * Create electronic files and documents - learn about and implement basic production skills such as style sheets, and prepare documents for print/digital production. * Work from existing design style to update on-going digital social media campaigns. * Assist the Chief Design Officer in layout and color explorations, and photography searches. * Make edits to documents, help to prepare comps, and team presentations. * Work with the Chief Executive Officer to update content on existing investor pitch decks and presentations. Eligibility: College students currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate design related program are invited to apply. Required Skills: * Basic knowledge of Macintosh computer format * Good understanding of the Adobe CS Package, in particular, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign * Good knowledge of the design principles needed to create work that is attention getting and effective. * Basic understanding of creative and technical issues involved in designing for various digital formats * Good hand skill and an excellent portfolio are essential * Dependable, responsible and mature individual * Possess a pleasant personality and good communication skills * Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment Hours: 15-20 per week - depending on class schedule Start Date: ASAP Physical Demands: Must have access to a Mac with the most up-to-date Adobe CS package THIS POSITION IS A CONTRACT POSITION, THEREFORE, DOES NOT INCLUDE INSURANCE.
