In addition to our Behavioral Services, we also assist our clients with resources to various agencies in our community, and referrals to Specialized Professionals in the areas of counseling/therapy, for past or current Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence, Trauma, Abuse, etc. About the Job The Licensed Therapist is responsible for the development and maintenance of treatment/recovery plans for each client and related clinical services. This involves (but is not limited to) family, individual counseling, cases/treatment reviews, current record keeping, attendance and participation in staff meetings when required. An equally important duty of the Licensed Therapist may work directly with representatives from state and community agencies in the overall planning for the client/recipient and their families- when necessary. In addition, the incumbent will facilitate two para-professionals coverage of assigned cases skill-building and case management to include the family, Child-Caring Institutions, Child Placing Agencies, mental health, schools, public health, as well as natural partners and stakeholders within the community. Job Responsibilities: * Conducts behavioral health screenings and comprehensive psychosocial assessments of assigned clients including mental status assessment, and all appropriate clinical information for Treatment planning. * Create original treatment plan and Psychosocial assessment within required timeframes. * Delivers services showing knowledge of developmental stages (age appropriate interventions, family systems, group process, effect of abuse and neglect, and ability to establish therapeutic relationships. Utilizes best practices. * Assures other mandated and necessary clinical data is available and reviewed. * Completes treatment plan within specified timeframes after admissions and all other regulatory due dates. * Maintains confidential records according to established procedures including an electronic medical record system * Develops and implements outcome-oriented treatment plans. * Monitors the comprehensive treatment plan for assigned consumers. Monitors the dynamics and progress of the youth, and also the effectiveness of the client's treatment plan. * Attends clinical meetings and treatment reviews as assigned by the Clinical Lead. * Updates the treatment plan (goals, objectives, services) as clinically indicated or required. Assures the treatment plan accurately reflects consumer strengths, needs and progress. * Timely documents delivery of treatment services and patient progress. * Completes a Discharge Plan upon the completion of treatment. * Collaborates as needed, with Clinic Staff, Para-Professionals and other staff members to perform clinical assessments and to develop integrated comprehensive care plans. * Shares with staff information vital to carrying out treatment plan for each youth assigned, through team meetings and individual conferences as needed. * May be required to lead the clinical team, at times including the child, family or guardian, and others in the development and implementation of the treatment plan for the assigned consumer. * Communicates effectively with all involved parties including keeping case workers, guardians, etc. informed and involved with progress. * Provides individual and/or family counseling as appropriate to consumer needs. * Coordinates scheduling with team supported by using the electronic medical record. * Coordinates the planning with others involved in arranging family interventions, and related services. * Goal to maintain a monthly minimum average of 25 billable hours. * Completes progress note and other documentation within specified parameters. * Communicates with and effectively utilizes supervision from Clinical Supervisor, and/or Psychiatrist. * Provides professional back up as needed. Assists in crisis situations concerning assigned youth, when needed. * Completes all other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director and/or Operations Manager. * Maintain license and/or certification required for performance of professional duties. * Creates and maintains a high-performance environment characterized by positive leadership and a strong team orientation. * Maintains adequate knowledge of community resources based on knowledge of program criteria. Required Qualifications: * Bachelors or Master's Degree in social services field, psychology or closely related field * Licensed in the State of Nevada as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional * Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) * Must be willing to submit to and pass a National Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening * Registered as a clinician with NV Medicaid, preferably. * CPR First Aid Certification * Must possess a valid Nevada driver's license and have reliable transportation Job Type: Part-time
