The Corporate Affairs Intern will support the daily operations of the Corporate Affairs department, working in close coordination with the Strategy and Operations team. Hiltons Corporate Affairs department leads all Communications, Corporate Responsibility and Government Affairs activities for the Company. The Intern will be responsible for working with our global team and business partners to support the ongoing development, and execution of our Corporate Affairs strategies and tactics. More specifically, you will: Help support communications activities across Hiltons Corporate Affairs team, including internal, corporate and brand communications as needed. Assist the team in the execution of major media events, including brand, corporate and internal announcements. Support the creation and maintenance of important, cross-functional editorial and event calendars. Conduct necessary follow up to ensure team(s) stay and progress on schedule. Work with the team on important activities, including those related to Hiltons 100th Anniversary celebrations and activations. Research and maintain ongoing repository of stories and proof points to be used in all communications channels with consistent formatting and photos. Contribute to reporting and measurement initiatives related to key communication programs. Support the development of materials, including talking points, presentations, videos, etc. Manage internal/external partner inquiries as requested. Arrange logistics for ongoing meetings, including meeting space, catering needs and meeting materials. Collaborate with all brands and necessary business partners on enterprise-wide initiatives. Completes assignments on time, or advises in advance of any delays Effectively deal with Team Members and partners, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to keep all parties calm and to collect accurate information To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience: Currently pursuing or have already earned a Bachelors Degree in business, public affairs/international relations, hospitality, or related field Strong analytic, written and verbal communication skills Good teammate, research and organizational skills, keen to learn and dedicated attitude Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and producing high quality deliverables Superior process and project management skills Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines and functions, including others in the department and people in other departments and/or outside the Company Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: Experience working with global or remote teams Experience presenting content/messages across multiple audiences What will it be like to work for Hilton?
