What Youll Do: The marketing/merchandising intern will assist with the product upload process, marketing research, messaging, positioning, through the entirety of the product life-cycle. If you love product marketing, are an analytical thinker, and are curious about customers and their buying habits, we want to hear from you. Be part of a cross-functional team and collaborate on real projects that will drive the business forward. Key responsibilities include: Assist with marketing key segments such as educational, nonprofit, & small business segments Blend traditional and progressive marketing methods & approaches in targeted, segmented programs to support business goals & drive the future of marketing efforts Experience with direct-to-consumer e-commerce industry Analyze, review, summarize large quantities of data into key points and actionable insights Perform competition analytics to ensure optimal pricing strategies are implemented Review and setup new product offerings, including product descriptions, imagery, pricing, etc Experience with social media and web commerce platforms Knowledge and interest in the subscription economy Understand target markets, buyer personas, solution offerings, and competitive landscape Minimum qualifications: Have/are pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree, preferably in Marketing, Business or related field Possess ability to problem solve and think analytically Highly organized and adaptable to a fast-paced environment Superior communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at once Legal authorization to work in the United States This is a paid opportunity $10 an hour DollarDays Awards & Accolades: Supplier of the Year: Blankets (Finalist), ASO-Counselor Magazine, 2018 Retail Innovator Award, Retail Touchpoints, 2017 B2B E-Commerce Marketer of the Year (Finalist), Internet Retailer, 2017 & 2016 DollarDays is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
