Part-time IT Help Desk Intern Biotrial, Inc. - Newark, NJ3.6 15 hours agoPart-timeEstimated: $22,000 - $30,000 a year Skills * Network * Help Desk * Active Directory * Microsoft Office BIOTRIAL is seeking a part-time IT Help Desk Intern for its new U.S. headquarters, a state-of-the art Clinical Pharmacology Unit in Newark, New Jersey. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. * Provide technical support and assistance to employees. * Provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution to end users by performing question/problem diagnosis. * Provide software installation, password resets, virus removal, IT management software, and asset management. * Troubleshoot operating systems, desktops, printers, copiers, mobile phones, Microsoft Office, software applications, computer hardware and internet connectivity issues and other computer-related problems. * Provide Active directory and computer administration user. * Guide users through step-by-step solutions on both an on-site and call-back basis. * Assist with managing and expanding the Companys existing social platforms across relevant platforms (Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.). * Other duties as assigned. * Work collaboratively with co-workers. Education and Experience * A minimum of two years college credit in Computer Information Systems or related field of study is required. * Minimum of one-year end-user support for current PC desktop and application software OR one year installing, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing personal computers in a network environment. Other Skills and Abilities * Must be able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical computer-related problems in an appropriate time frame. * Must be able to master new computer technology. * Excellent oral and written communication skills required. * Ability to navigate and use social media, preferred. * Must work collaboratively with others. * Must demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population Biotrial is an equal opportunity employer.
