Summary: We are currently seeking a Material Scienece Engineer Intern at our Cudahy, WI plant. Essential Functions: * Support Metallurgical Engineer Staff. * Work as a technical resource for management on special projects and quality improvement initiatives. * Coordinate technology improvement activities with other ATI-FP Divisions, and act as Cudahy Operations liaison for all investigations requested. * Perform routine tasks associated with Internal Research and Development projects. * Gather and analyze data for the engineering staff. * Coordinate selected aspects of technology / productivity improvements for Mechanical Test Laboratory. * Support process improvement and cost reduction activities for the department. * Participate in lean manufacturing events at Ladish Forging. Including 5S, TPM, and CIL improvement activities.
