To qualify for this Internship, you MUST be a continuing student enrolled or accepted for enrollment for the current/upcoming semesters for the duration of the internship as a condition of employment, taking at least a half-time course load. Provides input and assists with a wide variety of routine project tasks. Participates in meetings, workshops, conferences, and similar activities. Assists the supervisor and/or staff members in the formulation of milestones, goals, target dates and requirements to evaluate/analyze various aspects of projects/programs. Student Trainees will receive opportunities for learning in a professional work environment that focuses on transit career-related fields. Participants in the program will be exposed to the Federal work environment and will learn the mission of the Federal Transit Administration and it's role and responsibilities to the public transportation industry. GS-04: Completion of two academic years of post-high school study or associate's degree.
