The Internship: Live Nation is seeking a part-time Marketing Intern in our Las Vegas office. US Concerts Internships are unpaid and students must receive college course credit. Learning Objectives: * Learn how to construct weekly press releases * Review, edit and maintain media partner information * Develop and maintain community partnerships * Learn the importance of community outreach to further market upcoming shows * Help escort press at certain upcoming shows * Learn how a show settlement works * Be exposed to a variety of marketing department activities * Special projects Requirements: * Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university * Must be eligible for school credit (able to supply a letter from sponsor/administrator upon request) * Majoring in marketing, communications, business or a related field * Must be at least 18 years of age * Must have an avid interest in music, knowledgeable about artists and genres, and an overall interest in learning about the music industry * Must be able to commit to 16 - 20 hours per week * Must have access to a personal vehicle * Knowledge of social media sites and tools, and an active participant in social networking * Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills * Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks If the above description sounds like you and fits your background, apply online at www.livenation.com/careers to join the Live Nation Entertainment team today!
