Summer Camp Music Intern EOYCC - East Orange, NJ 1 hour agoFull-timeEstimated: $12,000 - $17,000 a year Benefits * Tuition Reimbursement * Employee Discount * Flexible Schedule East Orange Youth Cultural Complex is a non-profit organization has three main programs: Preschool, After-School Program, & Summer Camp. We are seeking Interns who want to share their talent with the Summer Campers from July- August. We are seeking dancers, artists, musicians, audio engineers, or students looking to go in to the education field. This will be a part-time position where you will be able to make your own schedule based on your availability. You can share your talent or interest with the students for at least 2 hours a day in the morning or afternoon. We are asking for a commitment of at least two days per week from July 1st to August 23rd. There will be a weekly or bi-weekly stipend. Please keep in mind that upon successful completion of the summer camp program, applicants are eligible for part-time and full-time employment at EOYCC. Music interns must prepare a 6-week lesson plan for children ages 6-10. (This will ask to be submitted at the interview). Lesson plan can be on any instrument, piece of music, genre, etc. that you wish to teach for the duration of the summer camp.
