This internship will start in May and will be full-time through the summer. With that in mind, applicants must be local to the Raleigh Downtown office. Office hours are Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5:30pm and Friday 7:30am - 11:30am. College juniors or seniors with an interest in accounting, business, or finance are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: GL account reconciliations and analysis Review and input of fixed assets Preparation of Sales and Use tax Compiling and analyzing reports utilizing Excel Other general ledger responsibilities Requirements: Must be in the process of completing an AA, BS or MS degree in Accounting or a relevant field Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook High degree of professionalism and strong people skills Effective oral and written communication skills Excellent team player Strong attention to detail Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a deadline driven environment Applicants must be legally authorized to work for Kimley-Horn in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
