Preferred Major and/or Minor of Study: - Accounting / Tax Level of student considered for Internship: Graduated with 5 year degree BA in Accounting Qualifications Description of Interns role for the department: Gain knowledge in Entertainment Finance through learning the settlement process and how that tracks to the P&L. Specific goals and objectives: Gain real world experience in Accounting / Entertainment Finance. Already has background in entertainment but the finance side is what truly interests intern for the future. What specific knowledge, skills, or techniques will be learned? Will learn how to interpret entertainment contracts into financial settlements, gross and net accounting of the settlements, how to read the P&L and General Ledger detail to find profitability. How, specifically, will these knowledge, skills or techniques be taught? Through hands on learning of the settlement process. Will work directly with Director of ESS Entertainment Settlements and analysts to teach the process. Primary Location: NV-Las Vegas-Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino_Corporate Employee Status: Temporary
