Job Description Prepare calculations and drawings under the supervision of the Project Manager or Project Engineer Performs construction services under the supervision of the Project Manager Interfaces with clients on project specific issues Supervises/coordinates with other engineers and drafters Responsible for technical content and quality control as set by the Project Manager Reports to the Project Manager on specific projects, and reports to engineering group manager administratively Minimum Job Qualifications: At least 3 years progress towards Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis or equivalent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to function effectively in a team environment. E.I.T. certificate or previous intern experience preferred. Successful completion of classes in steel design, concrete design and structural analysis required. Classes in wood design and/or masonry design preferred. Familiarity with codes and standards applicable to the design and construction of major building projects located in California. Familiarity with typically utilized computer software programs (ETABS, RAM Structural System, SAP2000, RISA-3D, SAFE, Microsoft Office). See Job Description
