PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited, to the following: * Follow and improve risk analysis and threat identification processes in support of the information security function for the enterprise information risk management program. Develop dashboards and underlying queries or filters in support of information security team operational monitoring and alerting. * Use established reporting systems to identify vulnerabilities and their appropriate solutions. Initiate work orders and track completion of remediation activities by others within IT to reduce technical vulnerabilities. * Administer anti-malware system following established processes including review of quarantined items, requesting changes to computer system groupings, coordinating periodic upgrades, and configuration of system settings under guidance from senior staff. * Administer access control lists to systems to ensure compliance with defined standards and procedures regarding user account setup, deactivation and review. Develop recommendations to improve processes. * Perform periodic reviews of IT Security tools following documented processes to remove outdated configurations. Prepare requested summary reports of specific alerts using reporting and log search tools. * Research security-relevant configurations for operating systems, middleware, and applications. Develop and document recommended standards in collaboration with senior staff. Under guidance from senior staff, develop or update standards as necessary to keep current with technology and process changes. * Gather periodic security metrics data and prepare reporting into final form as instructed. * Review requests for web filtering changes and provide recommendations regarding approval based on site risks and identified business process needs. * Other duties as assigned. Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-time On Call: No Job Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS: Required: * At least one year of information technology experience in a support role (two years for on-campus college/university campus roles). * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or Computer Science from accredited four-year college or university. Current/active students who are within two standard semesters (typically 24 credits) of graduation will be considered with proof of current enrollment and transcript of current completed work. (Inactive incomplete degrees will not be considered.) * Ability to maintain strict control over verbal and written confidential instructions and data associated with all job duties in the information security team. Ability to work with others to gather needed data for research and investigations while withholding sensitive or confidential aspects of assigned work. * Ability to summarize and effectively communicate technical issues to technical staff within division, both verbally and in written communications (email and work orders). Ability to recognize, understand, and communicate non-technical aspects of inquiries and assignments. * Ability to acquire a general knowledge of the organization and to demonstrate understanding of how the company works from a variety of perspectives. Ability to apply such knowledge to interpreting and responding to events in the organization relevant to company security and reputation. * Ability to review alerts and notifications from analysts/systems and properly route alerts through standard processes to appropriate teams for further research and/or resolution. Ability to track, follow-up, and report on assigned alerts through completion. * Ability to generate reports from and perform basic use/administration tasks with various security tools including SEIM, vulnerability scanners, anti-malware systems, and identity management systems. * Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot basic security aspects of core Microsoft technologies including workstation (Windows 7 and later), server platforms (Server 2008 and later), and Active Directory. * Ability to research and provide summary reports on basic security topics under guidance from senior staff, including producing final reports in a specified standard format. * Ability to effectively use core Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) in daily tasks. * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute while multi-tasking in high-pressure and ambiguous environment. Ability to recognize and communicate appropriate urgency and impact of work. * Ability to describe and collaborate develop solutions (with management and other staff) to specific problems or challenges in completing assigned tasks. * Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and effectively work both individually and in a team. * At least 21 years of age. Preferred: * Prior work experience in Information Technology. * Experience in medium/enterprise scale businesses. * Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting. A casino environment typically allows smoking. * Constant contact with executives, department management, applicants, CoStars and guests is necessary. * Requires prolonged sitting or standing and mobility. * Requires bending and reaching. * Requires transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 25 lbs. * Requires eye/hand coordination. * Requires use of standard office equipment. * Requires basic math. * Ability to push and/or pull file cabinet drawers weighing up to 5 lbs. * Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. * Ability to and comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
