We are growing more each day and are looking to add 1-2 part time web design interns to our team. This is an unpaid 90 day internship opportunity for recent college graduates or soon to be graduates, and we can work with your current class schedule and provide college credits as needed. We utilize advanced website technology in the form of a responsive drag and drop builder, so no coding knowledge is needed, only a great eye for design! During your internship you will learn how to make an effective business website that looks great on all devices and converts traffic into leads, plus best practices for SEO meta tags, layouts, usability, and more. You will be working on projects for real companies side-by-side with the rest of the WebAct team. Any work you do while you are here, you are free to add to your personal portfolio. If you are good at what you do, there is an opportunity to be hired after your internship. In fact, most of our current team members were interns before they were hired on. If you really stick with it, there's an even greater opportunity to acquire more skills, responsibilities, and a professional position as we grow as a company. Local applicants only! Our office is located off of East Hampden Ave near Aurora, so it's best if you live in South Denver, Englewood, Littleton, Greenwood Village, Aurora, Parker, etc, as the morning and evening commute can be a little overwhelming if you are too far north. Preferred Majors: Graphic Design, Web Design, or related experience. Required Skills: * A great eye for design and layouts. * Ability to translate rough guidelines into your own creative project. * Ability to learn new platforms and technology quickly. * Not afraid to ask questions and take the initiative to learn the best practices for this industry. Bonus Skills: * Photoshop and Illustrator for when we redesign logos or tweak images. * Enthusiasm, tact, finesse, and attention to detail. When you apply, please link to your portfolio or websites you have built. Also, please write a short cover letter (1 to 2 paragraphs) about why you want to join the WebAct team, so we know you read this ad all the way. Applications without a personal cover letter will be ignored!
