These positions will interview youth applicants to assess interests and skills for Summer Youth Program, and will develop and match applicants to various work based learning opportunities. In addition, these positions will also train youth on youth worker safety, diversity in the workplace and work readiness skill development and will also visit and assist in evaluating youth while at work. Must have strong communication skills with youth and adults, organizational skills and time management skills. Public service license (V endorsement) and bilingual skills (Spanish and English) are recommended. High school diploma or equivalent required. These are temporary part time positions with an anticipated start date of May 1, 2019 and an approximate end date of August 30, 2019. Pending funding. Location: One position is at the Northeast Learning Center in Danielson and one is located at the Community Learning Center in Willimantic.
