The Town of Castle Rock has an outstanding part-time internship opportunity for a Water Quality Intern in our Castle Rock Water department. This position performs tasks associated with water quality analysis. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, collecting raw and finished water samples, collecting real-time monitoring data, and performing simple laboratory analysis. Performs duties in a manner consistent with the stated values of the Town. Basic knowledge of, and experience with Wet Lab procedures is desired. A valid driver's license is preferred, but not required. Ability to lift or carry objects and materials of 20-40 pounds. Ability to work independently. This is a part-time position (less than 20 hours/week). Candidate must satisfactorily complete a driving record check and criminal background check prior to commencing employment.
